You might want to e-mail this page to your sweetie to give him some ideas - AskMen.com has put together a pretty appealing list.

And, to be fair, their list for what to get the man in your life also looks smart and well-balanced.

Of course, what I'm curious about, is how do you show your appreciation the other 364 days of the year? Feel free to share on our Facebook page.

Aside from reminding you of the importance of your health, Macy's is making it extra enticing to wear red.

As a national sponsor of the Go Red For Women movement, Mayc's is holding their Wear Red Sale through Sunday to raise funds and awareness for Go Red For Women.

Customers who wear red will receive all-day savings throughout the store. Customers not wearing red can purchase a Red Dress pin for $2 and receive the all-day savings. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the pins wil be donated to Go Red For Women.

Ellen DeGeneres makes her debut on American Idol next Tuesday.

Although we're accustomed to her humorous ramblings, she insists she's going to take the judging seriously. Will she be as tough as Simon? We'll just have to watch to see.

Here are some tips for a more nutritious (and heart-healthier) Super Bowl Sunday:

1. Use baked chips instead of fried.
2. Serve bean dip instead of sour cream dip.
3. Substitute air-popped popcorn for nuts.
4. Replace fried mozzarella sticks with chicken skewers.
5. Make the sub sandwiches healthy with whole-wheat bread, turkey breast and lots of veggies.
6. Remember the crudite' tray - an assortment of veggies with a low-fat dip.
7. Keep the alcohol intake to a minimum.
8. Substitute diet soda, iced tea or water for regular soda or juice.
9. Get up and dance during half-time to burn some of the calories.

Formerly Dolphin Stadium.
Formerly Landshark Stadium.
Formerly Dolphin Stadium.
Formerly Pro Player Stadium (I had forgotten the whole Fruit of the Loom period).
Formerly Joe Robbie Stadium.

Now known as ... SUN LIFE STADIUM.

Guess we might as well get used to it now.

The annual Marlins FanFest is Saturday, February 13th from noon - 6 p.m. That's when single game tickets go on sale for the upcoming season.

Being ‘Castaway’ is good

Really good, when you’re on Castaway Cay, Disney’s private
island in the Bahamas. It’s 1,000 acres of trees, beach and beautiful, blue
ocean, with adventures for everyone. In fact, I think that’s the true genius of
Disney – finding a way to entertain kids, teens and adults.

There’s a section of Castaway Cay that caters to each of us:
Castaway Family Beach for all ages; Scuttle’s Cove Youth Activities Area and
Teen Beach, exclusively for teens; Serenity Bay Beach and the Massage Cabanas,
exclusively for Adults.

Of course, adventures are a given on Castaway Cay. You can
discover the underwater world at Snorkeling Lagoon, be the captain of your own
ship in a kayak or on a paddleboat, or catch the view from above with a
Parasailing adventure.

Just looking
for relaxation? Yes, I confess, I found the hammocks and the floats. ...

This IS a Mickey Mouse cruise

There’s only one cruise you can call a “Mickey Mouse” cruise
and know it’s the highest form of praise. Disney, of course.

I’m on the Disney Cruise Ship Wonder, docked at Nassau after
departing Port Canaveral yesterday afternoon. What an experience!

Even going through the terminal for check-in, there are
Disney Characters to meet you. How can you not be in a good mood when you’ve
just had your picture taken with Chip ‘N Dale?

Then you walk on to the Wonder and it’s like entering WonderLand.
It looks like a palace, with decorations ranging from magnificent chandeliers
to life-size murals of Ariel to original artwork from Disney cartoons. Just
amazing.

Add in Disney music floating through the sound system and
the 24-hours of Disney movies on the in-room t.v. yes, there’s also ESPN), and you’re filled with a feeling of
well-being, like all is ...

Standing up for pants ... and civil rights

One of the most memorable moments from last week's American Idol auditions was 62-year old General Larry Pratt singing his original composition, 'Pants on the Ground'.

Is it the best song ever? Not by a long-shot. Is he a great singer? Not that, either. Was it entertaining? You bet. And catchy, too.

Dig a little deeper, and we learn that Pratt was actively involved in the civil rights movement, marching with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. So it was particularly moving for him to appear on 'The View' today, the day we honor Dr. King.

Read on about The General, and take a look at his fun Idol audition.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times the show plays here, it's always a sellout - maybe because it's one of those rare shows that has a great story with lots of humor, memorable songs, amazing sets - and it's appropriate for the whole family. In fact, anyone who's ever enjoyed 'The Wizard of Oz' should see 'Wicked' at least once.

Tickets are gonig on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Ticketmaster, but you can actually go to the 'front of the line' if you come in person to the Arsht Center box office between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. That's the only place the tickets will be on sale before internet sales begin.

A 7.0 earthquake and two dozen aftershocks in Haiti.

The Haitian Prime Minister says 100,000 people, maybe more, are dead.

Haiti's First Lady says most of Port Au Prince is destroyed.

President Obama says the U.S. will immediately release 10 million dollars in aid for Haiti.

Florida Governor Crist is sending teams to help with search and rescue, as well as emergency supplies.

We can all help.

With so many local residents with ties to Haiti, it's not surprising that many South Florida organizations are initiating drives for supplies and funds to aid the people in Haiti.

Here's information on how you can contribute to the relief efforts.
