Just a recap of some of the things we talked about this week, and the links where you can get more information:

The South Florida Firefighters Calendar unveiling is this weekend. The calendar benefits local charities Here's Help, A Safe Haven For Newborns and Friends Forever Humane Society. Erick & Henry, two of the 18 firefighters featured in the calendar visited us in the studio. They're sooo sweet (and ok, yes, good looking). You can meet them at any of the Calendar grand opening events - tonight, 8 p.m. at the Roundup in Davie; tomorrow, 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. at Seminole Paradise; and Sunday, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Macy's in the Pembroke Lakes Mall.

More info.

Saturday is the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, where Martin Luther King, Jr. made his historical 'I Have A Dream' speech. Tony Bennett, who marched with King in Selma, Alabama in 1965, will take part in thd event, which will also focus on the Voices Against Violence campaign, pushing for gun control.

Here's the March on Washington Anniversary website.

The NFL institutes it's 'no-bag' policy at Football games beginning this weekend with the Miami Dolphins-Tamba Bay Buccaneers game at Sun Life Stadium. No purses, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. will be allowed. You'll have to either check your bag, leave it in your car, or put all your belongings into a 1 gallon plastic bag, or an official clear NFL plastic bag (that you can buy). Let me know how this works out for you!

Here's the website with all the specifics.
