Furry Fursday: Hello, World ... I'm Fred!

Hi, I'm Fred. If you're obsessing over how gorgeous I am, you're right. I’m an absolute beauty and I know it. I walk around the shelter with pride and elegance, even if deep down I’m a little hurt and sad that my previous family left me.

I spent my first three years with them ... but I'm not complaining -- as I will have at least five times more years to spend with someone who will want me to be part of their family.

I am declawed, yes ... and I’m not bothered by that any more. I’m a happy kitty who loves brushing and spending time with people or on my own.

Want to adopt Fred -- or another furry friend? Call the Humane Society of Greater Miami at 305-696-0800 ... or visit the Soffer & Fine Adoption Center at 16101 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach.

The Humane Society of Greater Miami needs volunteers and we're inviting you to join the team! There are many ways you can help: walking and socializing our animals in the shelter, assisting at our events, fostering a pet in need.

Or perhaps you have services you can offer through the 'Executive-on-Loan' program in the fields of marketing, advertising, legal or photograph. Please consider giving your time to help the animals. To get involved or learn more, click HumaneSocietyMiami.org ... or call 305-696-0800.
