But research has found that bad hair isn't the result of just heat and humidity, or blow dryers. It's partially due to cooper. Cooper found in many water pipes. Apparently our hair acts like a sponge and soaks up the copper which can weaken cuticles and lead ato split ends, flyaways and dullness.
There is help. You can get a water filter, shampoo less frequently, seal your strands with coconut oil, suds up with clarifying shampoo and do a deep conditioning treatment once a week for added moisture.
