There will be more than 17 billion cards, letters and packages going out this holiday season. Today is the deadline for trying to ship packages internationally to get there for December 25th. It's the Priority International deadline. You can still do Express Mail International. For packages in the U.S., your deadline is December 14th.
The busiest day of the year for the Post Office is December 17th. So if you're mailing first class, they suggest anytime. But the absolutely last date is December 20th.
And if you're sending gifts, the absolute last dates are December 21st for Priority Mail. and December 22nd Express Mail.
