Optimism! Studies find if you're positive you're going to lose weight and keep it off, most likely you will. Women who think positively about their weight loss were 8 times less likely to gain weight than those negative thinkers.
Also 9 out of 10 women who thought positively about weight management in the last year reported either losing weight or maintaining it while only half of the negative thinkers lost weight or maintained it.
So think positive.
