Tweeting helps you lose weight

If you want to lose weight, get some support from your social network of friends and you'll find success. That's the findings of a study of those who tweeted and those who didn't.

Those who tweeted lost about 2.7 percent of their body weight over a six month period. And they even broke it down for every ten tweets a person made, there was about a .5 percent loss of body weight.

Of course, tweeting alone won't help you lose, you have to do the usual, eat sensibly and exercise. But it can help.
