South Florida's Andrea Ivory, a CNN Hero, was chosen for her incredible work she's done bringing early breast-cancer detection to uninsured women. To volunteer and help, take a look at her website.

Andrea Ivory is an example of angels walking among us. I am a survivor because of early detection and the urging of my brave sister who lost her breast cancer battle in July, four weeks after my partial mastectomy.
I am a former co-worker of Andrea's husband. He beams with pride anytime he speaks of his wife, and the love this family exhibits is a true testament to "pay it forward". May God bless you!
