More companies are allowing their workers to nap during the day, believing the short break will refresh workers and help boost productivity. BusinessWeek reports that among the companies with nap policies are Nike, which has areas called "quiet rooms" that can also be used for meditation, and Google, which has several futuristic napping pods scattered throughout its California headquarters. The magazine says that other companies are outsourcing napping, citing a Manhattan napping spa called Yelo that has provided services to Hearst, Newsweek and Time Warner. It offers naps in a treatment room in which clients can adjust aromatherapy, sound, and lighting, with a 20-minute nap costing $15.

Tips For a More Effective Nap If you want to obtain more sleep, and the health benefits that go with getting enough sleep, here are some tips for more effective napping and sleep at night:

So, you wanna date my daughter

    Posted 8/31/2010 5:00:00 AM
If your teen is planning that first real date, here are a few tips to keep in mind.

    1. BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL.

Your relationship with your partner is a model for how your teen will behave with others. Your relationship for your child speaks far louder than anyone’s words. Show them how you compromise, stick up for yourself, give and expect respect and argue but love your spouse.

    2. TELL THEM TO LISTEN TO THEIR INNER VOICE.

Help them pay attention to the voice inside that says, “I’m uncomfortable in this situation and don’t want to do this.” Teach them to trust their judgment. Tell them how to avoid unwanted sexual advances. Tell your sons that having sex does not make them a man and tell your daughters that having sex does not make them cool.

    Richer, thinner, younger or smarter?

    Posted 8/30/2010 5:00:00 AM

An Adweek Media/Harris Poll surveyed just over 2,100 American adults and asked them whether they'd most want to be richer, thinner, smarter or younger. The most, 43 percent, said they'd want to be richer. Of the other three choices, 21 percent said they'd choose thinner, 14 percent said smarter and 12 percent said younger. Nine percent said they wouldn't want to choose any of the options. Breaking out the results by gender, more men chose to be richer, 46 percent compared to 41 percent of women, while 29 percent of women said they'd want to be thinner, compared to just 14 percent of men. For the choice of younger, 16 percent of men chose that option, compared to eight percent of women.

If your answer was to look younger, check this out.
