Dream a little Dream with Phil Collins

Phil Collins had his day in paradise here in South Florida on Wednesday, December 4th when he held a press conference for his LITTLE DREAMS FOUNDATION. The Little Dreams Foundation was founded in 2000 by Orianne and Phil Collins to help fulfill the dreams of young kids, without financial backing, in music, art, or sports. Some big name celebrities that have served as "GodParents" for the foundation are, Tina Turner, Natalie Cole, Roger Federer, and of course Phil, himself.

It's Boardwalk not Broadwalk....

It's east coast vs. west coast, well, not really, but close. The Hollywood Beach broadwalk is in the running for BEST BROADWALK according to USA TODAY. It's rival: Pier 60 at Clearwater Beach. As if there were any comparison. The Hollywood broadwalk was built in 1926 and renovated in 2008 and gorgeous. It's a 2.5 mile stretch where you can run (I have), bike (I have) or stroll (yep, that, too).
And on December 7th, you can join 101.5 LiteFm (Kimba, Bryan and myself), for the 58th annual Candy Cane parade where Santa himself will show up. Can they do THAT at Clearwater beach? Doubtful. Vote here and put this baby to bed!
Can you hear me now?

Air travel just isn't what it used to be, especially in this post 911 world that we live in. Everyone has to practically disrobe before boarding, your luggage has to weigh less than your dog or cat, and God forbid you decide to take some hair gel with you that is more than 30z! (Even terrorists worry about their hair, I guess).
Well, apparently, the FCC is considering allowing cell phones to be used while suspened 25,000 feet in the air. All those people you forgot to call back? Now you've got plenty of time; the entire duration of your flight!!I was quite pleased with the news, and I believed others would be, too. Try door number 2, Julie. Wow, was I ever wrong. LiteFm listeners DID NOT AGREE. AT. ALL. Eveyone echoed the same reasoning. No one wants to hear your phone conversation. (and I thought they did).
Who are you??????

Monster.com recently did a survey that found that 53% of people love, or at the very least, like their job. Pretty good odds, don't you think? The reality is that the people you work with have 95% control of whether or not you actually do like where you work. And most of your co-workers have a title. I'm not talking about titles like VP, or CEO, but more like, "the gossip", or in our case here at LiteFM, "the spiller", and the "snorter". I won't name names, but if you think about it, you have names for people, too. And maybe they have one for you. (Shocking!)
If they do, share here
For better or worse, or until you break the rules.

The Huffington Post released a list of the 20 things only MARRIEDS would understand. My interest was immediately, piqued. Would I understand? Should I understand? I read the list, and I did. All. OF. THEM. They are all on point. And then we got to thinking, everyone has a 'rule' they live by, whether it's to sustain a happy marriage, or to make sure they make it into heaven. So, what are YOUR marriage rules? Share here and read some of the ones that others have shared here.
